Tailored individualized mental skills training programs to optimize individuals' performance potential through the use of  theoretically grounded techniques.

Learn about our services:

  • These sessions will consist of reviewing intake paperwork, gathering background information about lifestyle and sport/performance history, and more!

  • These sessions typically consist of meeting prior to the workshop with the coach(es) to discuss a focus/intention for the group. This is followed by an individually curated team building exercise or educational workshop for a group or entire team looking to improve cohesion, group performance tactics, or performance techniques in a fun and educational setting

FAQs

+ What is mental skills training?

Is mental performance coaching for me? Mental performance is for anyone who is looking to fine tune their skills optimize their performance

+Who will know what we talk about?

Nobody. If you are 18 years or older, I am ethically required to keep all information that we discuss, confidential. This includes who is a client, what we discuss, and what we work on during our individual sessions. At the beginning of the first session, more information will be covered and a confidentiality agreement will be reviewed, explaining the few circumstances where confidentiality may need to be broken. When working with minors, I recommend that the client and the parent/guardian keep consistent communication about topics covered during our sessions.

+What if my challenges are in other areas of my life also?

While mental skills and sport psychology topics can expand and enhance many areas of an individual’s life, I have not been properly trained to provide clinical mental health advice at this time. In this case, I can continue working on the sport/performance areas with clients, while providing referrals to specialists in the areas that can further benefit the client. If given written permission, a team approach can be taken and I can communicate with the providers about what is discussed during sessions!

+What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

If it is not an emergency, I ask that at least 24 hour notice is provided for rescheduling and canceling appointments. I also understand that emergencies and life happen. Clients will be allowed to reschedule their appointment one time, free of charge, and all other reschedules/ cancellations will be charged the full amount.
